The Killers Hardly Kill It With Day & Age (Part Two)

Published by llwesman under Music Edit This

As has become expected the song does have some bizarre songs that your average listener could easily do without. “Goodnight, Travel Well” is an uncharacteristically quiet and soft song. “This is Your Life” sounds like something created by dwarves digging in a mine and breaking out into song.

Overall the album is mostly forgettable after the two initial singles. The release should do well as the Killers have quite a following but their performance on “Day & Age” doesn’t do much to add to any thoughts of them becoming a transcendent band like Coldplay.

The Killers start of their tour “The Road” in Oakland at the Oracle Arena on Dec. 11. They play at the Warfield in San Francisco the next day for their last California performance. The band is known for its high energy live performances through the band’s official website and on Tickets.com.

“Day & Age” is available on iTunes exclusively until Nov. 25 when it is released in stores as a CD.
