King of Beggars, a 1992 gem starring Kung Fu Actor Stephen Chow, is a brilliantly entertaining film in the mold of a Kung Fu Hustle and Shanghai Soccer. Such would be expected as the film stars the same man, Chow, who as usual carries the movie with his hilarious dialogue and physical humor.

The film centers itself on Chow’s fall from grace from a Kung Fu “scholar” to a beggar on the streets. He learns to use a technique called sleeping kung fu which is as funny as it sounds. While the movie itself screams low budget Chinese movie, you can’t beat it for entertainment value and its sure to please an audience of all ages.
